Harry Potter Horcruxes Ranked By Difficulty Of Obtaining Them

Harry Potter Horcruxes Ranked By Difficulty Of Obtaining Them If the Horcruxes were easy to obtain, the seventh film would have been a lot shorter. It's time to rank the Horcruxes by how hard they were to get. As if defeating Lord Voldemort was already hard enough, Harry Potter was left reeling in the Half Blood Prince when he was informed that He Who Must Not Be Named had taken measures to ensure he was, pretty much, immortal. The Dark Lord had, years previously, chosen to create Horcruxes - tiny bits of your soul that are stored inside an object to ensure your survival. Harry then spends the best part of 18 months tracking down the items, getting rid of them one by one before besting Voldemort himself during an epic final showdown at the battle of Hogwarts. We now rank each Horcrux by how difficult it was to obtain and destroy - starting with the easiest to the hardest. 7 Harry Himself Obviously, finding out you’re a Horcrux is a pretty difficult thing to comprehend. And poor Har...

Harry Potter Dumbledores Army Ranked By Power

Harry Potter Dumbledores Army Ranked By Power

Harry Potter helped create Dumbledore's Army to learn how to fight the oncoming doom. They all tried but some members were stronger than others.

Harry Potter Dumbledores Army Ranked By Power

Dumbledore's Army in Harry Potter is created in defiance of the Ministry's unwarranted intrusions at Hogwarts, an incentive devised and actualized by Hermione, Harry, and Ron. The main reason for its formation is in order to help train students in all the complexities that come with defending against Dark Magic, given Umbridge's staunch reliance on theory without practice.

There have been thirty known participants in this mini-revolution, some of whom understandably quit, and others (Marietta Edgecombe) who brazenly deceive her fellow pupils and reveals the existence of the organization to Umbridge. Interestingly, Dumbledore's Army is still active in Harry's seventh year, with Ginny, Neville, and Luna leading them against the cruelty of their new Death Eater professors. Of course, some members were more powerful than others.

10 Parvati & Padma Patil

One of the sisters' greatest talents lies in the field of potions — they mix together a tricky potion known as the Babbling Beverage, which is then used to play havoc with the "loudspeakers" employed by Dolores Umbridge to make her condescending announcements.

Parvati and Dean Thomas work together against three Death Eaters, and the fact that they escape unscathed, suggests that they won. Neither of them perishes in the Battle of Hogwarts, an event that takes several innocent lives It shows they're capable but still behind others.

9 Lavender Brown

Harry Potter Dumbledores Army Ranked By Power

Lavender Brown might be a bit too keen on Divination, but she is also great at other forms of magic. She is exceptional at both Transfiguration and Charms, and her DADA knowledge vastly enhances with all the time she spends practicing with Harry and the others.

Finally, Lavender shows herself to be an adept combatant, taking on the attacking Death Eaters at the Battle of Hogwarts. Sadly, she does not survive the ending, with her killer being Fenrir Greyback.

8 Dean Thomas

As mentioned earlier, Dean Thomas is capable enough of handling Dark Magic thrown at him by theoretically superior adversaries. Further, he successfully evades being identified as a Muggle-born and captured by the marauding groups of Snatchers for a considerable period of time, suggesting his aptitude for strategic planning.

Dean is easily able to case various charms and spells, such as Stupefy, Riddikulus, and possibly several others picked up via training in the Room of Requirement.

7 Luna Lovegood

Harry Potter Dumbledores Army Ranked By Power

Luna Lovegood certainly does not behave like the rest of her peers, but this only makes her a fiercely unique personality. She takes part in a number of conflicts, including at the Ministry of Magic, the Astronomy Tower, and at the Battle of Hogwarts.

Together with Ginny and Hermione, she fought Bellatrix, the most powerful Death Eater, but it must be stated that the outcome will always be unclear. Luna's spellwork, while not versatile like Harry's or innovative like Hermione's, has helped her survive without any serious damage.

6 Fred & George Weasley

Regardless of their scholastic failure, Fred and George displayed their talents in a variety of ways. Their greatest strength, however, lies in the fields of Charms and Potions — as can be seen by the sheer depth and magical complexity of their comical creations.

Although Fred perishes at the indirect hands of Augustus Rookwood, he remains one of the more impressive members of Dumbledore's Army, as is his twin brother, who takes down Corban Yaxley with the help of Lee Jordan.

5 Ron Weasley

Harry Potter Dumbledores Army Ranked By Power

As insecure and indecisive Ron can be underrated with his magical prowess. His actions clearly indicate that he possesses vast quantities of them. His tactical intelligence is first exhibited during the giant chess match in the first book/movie, but mostly in being the member of the Golden Trio to perceive facts from the simplest perspectives. A good example is when he has to remind Hermione that witches don't need wood to produce fire.

Ron has had quite a few accomplishments to his name, such as disarming Bellatrix, defeating Greyback, and actually imitating Harry's Parseltongue to great effect.

4 Neville Longbottom

Neville doesn't shine for the first several years at Hogwarts, but under the influence of Dumbledore's Army, he rapidly gains confidence, and, as a result, magical dexterity like never before. In addition to being a Herbology genius (later professor), he becomes an exceptional duellist, capable of bringing down the likes of Fenrir Greyback with backup from Ron.

Neville bravely rejects Voldemort's invitation, fully aware of what could result from his noncompliance, and subsequently decapitates the only remaining Horcrux, Nagini. It is this act that leaves Harry free to begin his final confrontation with the Dark Lord.

3 Ginny Weasley

Although Molly continuously forbids her daughter from entering into duels, Ginny exhibits a level of combat mastery that is quite shocking for her age. Aside from her innumerable fights, nearly all of which are triumphant, she is well-versed in minor forms of Dark Magic, like the Bat-Bogey Hex. The very idea of being attacked by it terrifies Fred and George.

Above everything else, what her opponents find the most fearsome is her spot-on accuracy. If Ginny has her wand aimed at someone, her spell is almost certainly going to hit its target.

2 Harry Potter

Harry Potter Dumbledores Army Ranked By Power

There isn't a lot to deliberate about Harry's magical virtuosity. Being marked by the Dark Lord from birth has had no difference on his innate wizardry, although perhaps it has been enhanced by having to deal with fatal scenarios multiple times a year.

It is he who figures out the secret of the Elder Wand's ownership (and its initial faithfulness to Draco Malfoy), something only Dumbledore knew right before his death. At the climax of his journey, Harry is overwhelmingly spectacular at magic, but it's interesting to note that he still chooses to disarm Voldemort rather than hurt or kill him.

1 Hermione Granger

Harry Potter Dumbledores Army Ranked By Power

Hermione is probably the most powerful witch of her age, which takes a combination of hard work and incandescent intelligence. There is nobody at Hogwarts who comes close to her in terms of studies, which extends to martial magic as well.

One prime example of this can be seen in the Battle of Hogwarts, in which Hermione uses spell after spell almost without conscious thought, each time protecting herself or her friends and regardless of the intensity of the moment, she keeps her cool. She ends up being the Minister for Magic; there can be no greater testament to her prominence.

5 Reasons Why Prisoner Of Azkaban Is The Worst Harry Potter Movie (& 5 Reasons Why The Book Is The Best Book)

5 Reasons Why Prisoner Of Azkaban Is The Worst Harry Potter Movie (& 5 Reasons Why The Book Is The Best Book) While each of the seven books and eight movies based on Harry Potter are terrific, it's time to point out some of Prisoner of Azkaban's shortcomings. It's almost a universal consensus that Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is the best story by J.K. Rowling. It brings in more new characters than its predecessors and drastically shifts in tone to start Harry's descent into the dark corners of the wizarding world. It highlights even more magic than we thought possible while bringing the backstories of the central characters into better light. That being said, there is a major difference between the movie version and its source material. The book is without a doubt one of the series most masterful works. However, despite its good moments, the movie somehow manages to be one of the worst HP film adaptations. Some people might not agree, but, for those who ...
